Dear Supporter:

Thank you to so many of you for attending my October kick-off breakfasts in Chambersburg and Gettysburg! It was heartwarming to have so many supporters present as I announced my intention to run for re-election as your State Senator of the 33rd District of Pennsylvania. I certainly appreciated all the kind words of support.

The past three years have been very rewarding for me.   The most satisfying aspect has been the ability to help individuals in my district. I find it very rewarding to have a hand in implementing the decisions that enhance our communities and the quality of life for the people in our 33rd senatorial district and across the state.  I have been committed to and will continue to work to hold the line on state taxes, as well as work to reform and improve our government.

As you know, I am beginning my campaign efforts in earnest this month and ask you to consider ways in which you can support my re-election and use the enclosed supplies.

Lapel Button— There is no stronger gesture of support than wearing a lapel button that lets your friends and neighbors know who you support!  I ask you to choose a public event or two and wear you campaign button proudly, encouraging your friends to support me as well.

Bumper/Window Stickers— I would be most honored if you would place this sticker on your car.  These work well on bumpers and even better on windows.  They heighten the public’s awareness of my campaign and the upcoming election (April 24th).

Volunteering— Please encourage anyone who is interested to visit my campaign website at www.allowayforsenate.com to become involved in our campaign.  They can also call my campaign administrator at 717-860-7253.

 I welcome your support and help and want you to know that, when re-elected, some of my goals for my next term include:  

Hold the line on taxes and reduce spending

Create opportunities for businesses to hire employees

Find ways to shift taxes from property to a more equitable form of taxation

Repeal the prevailing wage laws

End the unfair inheritance tax

Overhaul the public welfare system to root out fraud and waste

 I look forward to serving the citizens of our district and I sincerely ask for your support.  Together we can make our region an even better place to work, live and raise our families.
