State Senator Rich Alloway: In his first term, Rich led the successful fight to change state government for the better. Rich voted to strengthen Right-to-Know laws opening up government to our citizens and voted to adopt a strict code of ethical conduct.

·  Rich Alloway helped pass a state budget that cut $1 billion in spending and closed a huge budget deficit – without a tax increase. 

·  Rich Alloway’s first bill was to end the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax. He will fight for it until it is signed into law. Rich believes families should retain what  they have earned over a lifetime – it shouldn’t be taken by the government.

Jobs, Jobs Jobs

Rich Alloway understands that in order to spur job creation government must keep taxes low which is why he has voted AGAINST every tax increase considered in the Senate.

Rich Alloway voted in favor of the “Fair Share Act” which will help business grow jobs instead of fighting frivolous lawsuits.

Rich Alloway supported the Pennsylvania Preferred Act which will aid farmers and agribusinesses through better promotion of local agricultural products.

Rich Alloway worked hard to help match local businesses with potential new employees in his district by coordinating efforts of state and local agencies.

Rich Alloway is a strong advocate for creating jobs by reforming the state’s outdated prevailing wage laws. Rich worked with local officials to hold hearings on legislation that would save taxpayer dollars and  generate local construction jobs.
